BEAUTY MONDAY: PACIFICA CC CREAM

When it comes to beauty products that involve my skin, I am very particular about what I want and need. As my skin is very oily, I need something that's not gonna go really greasy after 10 minutes of sitting on my face.

Spring is here and a heavy foundation is not something I like to use once the sun is out. For my make-up routine, I like to use foundation in the winter time - when the weather is cold and I'm more likely to break out. A good coverage foundation is perfect to shield me from those breakouts. For spring time I like to keep it light and simple.

I've purchased this CC Cream from LucyRose, for £16.99. This is a bit pricey compared to the brands that can be located in a drugstore, but in my experience, natural/organic things always cost a bit more and they definitely worth it. This Pacifica CC Cream is very light and covers my imperfections perfectly. It has a colour correction feature that adapts to your skin, so it makes it look like you're not wearing anything on your face. It is very easily buildable, so if necessary, you can get a thicker coverage out of it.

It is always a plus when a skincare product has SPF in it, and this product is one of them.

I bought this CC cream in the shade warm/light. I was hesitant between the light and medium because I'm not very pale. So, I started reading some of the reviews and people were saying that the light shade is quite dark for being called 'light', and they wouldn't recommend it for someone who's very pale. And I totally agree. If I had the same skin tone as some of my friends or even my mum, then this would make my face look oddly darker than the rest of my body. This sadly reduces the chances for them to sell more products, but hopefully, they will make an ever lighter CC cream so the pale lasses can have a chance to purchase this bad boy too.
