HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE BOWLS

I am not a very good cook, as my friends and family knows but I do like to make cute and unique things, so when Co-Operative got in touch and gave me a box of goodies to make chocolate bowls I was very excited.

All you need is some chocolate, balloons, tin foil and something to put in the bowls. I used marshmallows but you can use ice cream or fruit - anything your heart desires.

First step is to boil some water in a pan, and while it's doing its thing, you can start breaking the chocolate into little pieces and put it into a bowl. Once the water is boiled just put the bowl full of chocolates on top of the pan, and the chocolate will start to melt. Make sure you stir it all the time so the chocolate doesn't burn!

Leave the chocolate to cool down a little bit, because if the balloon touches the hot chocolate, it will pop and you will have chocolate everywhere in the kitchen. (This is a very important bit, so please don't forget it! You don't want to end up like I did!)

Just before you dip the ballon in the chocolate, get out a piece of tin foil (but put a cutting board underneath it), and place some chocolate on the tin foil in  round shapes. (This is for the chocolate bowl to have a bottom.)

Then just start covering the bottom half of the ballon with chocolate.

Once it's covered just place the balloons on the chocolate dots that you made on the tin foil, and it's ready to go in the fridge. I think it's better if you leave it in there to cool down for at least 3 hours, but you can check when the chocolate is hard, and it will be probably ready by then.

Last thing to do is, pop the balloon and it's all done! All you need to do now is just put something in it, and it's ready to serve.

It's very easy to make, so why not just surprise your friends and family with a unique treat.

Also if you haven't heard Co-Operative takes NUS cards, so if you're a student, you get 10% discount, how cool is that? No other supermarket does it (yet), so guys I think it's a good place to buy your stuff, just because you can save up some money either for buying clothes for going out to have some fun.
